Williamson Continues One Raceway Streak

Jayson Williamson has taken out both NSWPTC endurance races in Round 2 of the 2026 championship on the One Raceway Shelley Circuit.

Throughout both races, Williamson was embroiled in battles with the BMW M2 of Leigh Burges along with the Mustang of Chris Delfsma/Michael Caine.

The Delfsma/Caine entry actually crossed the finish line first in Race 2, only to be demoted to third as a result of a penalty for late-race contact.

Following his dramatic victory in the final round of 2025, Williamson now has a hat-trick of NSWPTC enduro wins at One Raceway.

Williamson also took honours in Class A1, while Burges won Class X and Delfsma/Caine took out Class A2.

The Renault Megane of the father/son combination of Matt/Max Bolton was victorious in Class C in both races, while Class D honours were shared between Richard Buttrose and Andrew McMaster/Michael Hazelton. Buttrose’s results also saw him moving into the overall championship lead, after the points leader entering the round, David Krusza, withdrew from the event with engine problems after qualifying.

The scariest moment of the weekend came late in the second enduro when Bevan Tanner rolled his VW Golf at Turn 1. Tanner was transported to hospital for precautionary observations but was thankfully uninjured.
