The NSW Production Touring Cars Championship has announced its calendar for the 2023 season, featuring two interstate visits and a greater emphasis on endurance races.
While the current uncertainty around Wakefield Park has prevented the championship from visiting the Goulburn circuit, the season will instead start at the other Benalla Auto Club-owned venue, Victoria’s Winton Motor Raceway, with an endurance race at the start of March.
The category will visit Sydney Motorsport Park on four occasions, but each visit to the Western Sydney circuit will feature a slightly different format: a sprint round on the GP circuit, a sprint round on the north circuit, a daytime enduro and a nighttime enduro.
The second interstate race meeting will be held at Queensland Raceway in October, with the format to consist of a pair of endurance races.
This year’s NSW Production Touring Cars Championship concludes at Sydney Motorsport Park next weekend (29-30 October).
