Latest and greatest news for Production Touring Cars

The committee has been very busy over the off season, so I thought I would bring you up to date with the best of the developments.

Sponsors old and new:

We are very pleased to confirm that all of our sponsors have renewed their commitment to the category for the 2013 Season. This is an endorsement of our club and of you, the competitor, that of all the places these companies could spend their sponsorship dollars, they choose you. Please support them wherever you can.

New sponsors:

Bart won an auction to ride in my car at the drive day in December. We must have impressed him, as he is the latest of major sponsors. Bart’s company  logo will adorn each car that hits the track this year and we hope for many years to come.

Check out Bart’s website and if you think he can help your business, give him a call. Welcome aboard BPV Solutions. www.bpvsolutions.com

Darren Garnon from Lube Alloy was introduced to PTC by Cary Morsink. Darren loved what he saw with us so much he is now supporting the 2013 season. Darren develops and manufactures race oils and is looking to work with PTC to provide a superior product for our competitors. There will be a special Lube Alloy product prize pack at each round up for grabs. Call Darren for advice on oils and to purchase his excellent product: www.lubealloy.com.au

Vic Scona from Lithiumax has also come on board for 2013. Vic manufacturers ultra lightweight batteries for your road and race cars. He will be giving away one battery for each of the 3 Sydney rounds to the driver he deems to be the Hard Charger of the weekend.

Call Vic on  0409 766 722 and put your car on an immediate weight reduction programme.

Of course we all know David Atkin from Kumho. Our good friend has agreed to sponsor our new Driving Standards Officer, Val Stewart for the 2013 season. It’s great to have a prestigious tyre manufacturer like Kumho on board and we thank David for his support. www.peakrpm.com.au    www.kumho.com.au

Television coverage :

I can confirm there will be a TV package for all our races in 2013. DGB Media will again be producing the content, which will be immediately available on the internet and later  in a 7 week block on TVS Channel 44. We are very excited about this opportunity and I will release more details as they come to hand. There will be NO extra cost to the competitor to provide this coverage. However, we are seeking for companies to purchase episodes in return for significant camera time. Please call me for details. (1 round has been sold already)

There are many more good news stories to share so keep an eye on the website and email box.
